<p>A still image display direction setting method includes a step (S1) for reading out thumbnail image data from a storage medium such as a memory card and displaying a plurality of thumbnail images as an index, a step (S3) for rotating a selected thumbnail image on the display screen according to the rotation instruction information from a user, and a step (S4) for rewriting image direction information of the thumbnail image stored in the image file according to the rotation of the thumbnail image. The present invention enables a user to easily set a desired display direction of still image data stored in the storage medium, in a short time.</p> |
