The invention relates to the combined use of anti-cholinergic and anti-noradrenergic active substances for treating nicotine-withdrawal syndrome (NES). According to the invention, an excessive release of acetylcholine or noradrenaline in the initial phase of nicotine withdrawal can be blocked and thus a reduction in withdrawal symptoms can be obtained. As a result, transdermal plasters are provided which are coated with anti-cholinergic and anti-noradrenergic substances, i.e. clonidine, scopolamine and/or atropine.
