Ceramic composite body comprises an outer casing ceramic and a sintered material having different electrical and/or mechanical properties. Preferred Features: The casing ceramic is made from a non-oxide ceramic, preferably silicon carbide, boron carbide or a mixture of these. The sintered material is shrunk into the casing ceramic and made from an electrically conducting boron nitride mixed ceramic containing an electrically conducting titanium diboride or graphite.
