A fertiliser is produced from condensed molasses solubles (CMS) by neutralising with ammonia or an ammonium salt, hydroxide or carbonate, followed by addition of predetermined amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compounds to produce a blend which provides an area to be treated with a predetermined NPK value.
