PURPOSE: A method for blockading and denying a short message using an electronic signature is provided to protect a right of a receiver of a short message and a service provider and defend a predetermined attack with respect to a service utilization by checking a transmitter of an illegal and immoral short message. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter terminal(105) receives an electronic signature creation program, electronic signature creation key information, and electronic signature verification key information through an authentication system using an authentication protocol. The transmitter terminal(105) supplies transmitter information and message signature information, and creates a message digest in accordance with a hash algorithm based on the electronic signature creation program. Also, the transmitter terminal(105) performs an electronic signature of the message digest using the electronic signature creation key through a signature algorithm based on the electronic signature creation program, and supplies electronic signature structure information and short message information through a communication system. A short message service server(107) receives the electronic signature verification key information and the electronic signature structure information from the transmitter terminal(105), stores personal information of a transmitter and the short message information, and transmits the short message information to a receiver terminal(115) through the communication system. Also, the short message service server(107) receives transmitter chase requesting information from a receiver, verifies a signature value of the short message information using the electronic signature verification key information, and extracts the personal information of the transmitter based on a verification of the signature value.
