INSULATOR FOR ELECTRIC HEATER

PURPOSE: An insulator for an electric heater is provided to easily install a heater coil on the insulator and to prevent the heater coil from being deformed by preventing the heater coil from being deformed when performing an installing work of the heater coil. CONSTITUTION: An insulator(30) is fixed to a fixing plate of a heater. The fixing plate is made of metal. The insulator(30) supports the heater coil in such a manner that the heater coil is prevented from making contact with the fixing plate. The insulator(30) includes a body section(31) having a flat hexahedron bar shape. A horizontal notch(33) is formed at both sides of the center of the body section(31). A separate wire is positioned at the horizontal notch(33) in order to fix the insulator(30) to the fixing plate. A coil resting section(35) is formed at an end of the insulator(30) so as to support the heater coil. A winding surface(36) is formed at the front end of the coil resting section(35). The winding surface(36) has a curvature corresponding to an inner curvature of the heater coil. A resting slot(37) is formed at a lower end of the coil resting section(35).
