PURPOSE: A method for reducing corrosion erosion in the feeder pipes used in the primary loop of a CANDU-type nuclear power plant is provided to lengthen the lifespan of the feeder pipes and reduce corrosion erosion in the feeder pipes used in the primary loop of a candu-type nuclear power plant. CONSTITUTION: In order to reduce corrosion erosion in the feeder pipes within the primary loop of a CANDU-type nuclear power plant, the surface roughness of the primary side inner walls of the heat exchanger tubes(22) of a steam generator(20) is reduced by using treatment with adhesive.
