PURPOSE: A fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate monomer, a fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate cross-linking agent, a fluorine-containing polyacrylate or polymethacrylate, its preparation method and a hydrogel soft lens containing the fluorine-containing polyacrylate or polymethacrylate are provided, to improve the water content and the oxygen permeability of a soft lens. CONSTITUTION: The fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate monomer is represented by the formula 1, 2 or 3, wherein R is H or CH3; R' is (CH2)a-O-(CH2)b-Rf-(CH2)c-OH; a, b and c are an integer of 1-4; and Rf is substituted or unsubstituted fluoroalkyl, fluorocycloalkyl, fluoroaryl, fluoroarylalkyl, fluoroheteroarylalkyl or fluoroalkaryl group. The fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate cross-linking agent is represented by the formula 5, wherein R is H or CH3; Rff is substituted or unsubstituted fluoroalkyl, fluorocycloalkyl, fluoroaryl, fluoroarylalkyl or fluoroheteroarylalkyl group; and a is an integer of 1-10. The fluorine-containing polyacrylate or polymethacrylate contains the fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate monomer as a repeating unit.
