A process for producing olefin polymer graft copolymers, carried out in a first and a second interconnected reaction zones, to which particles of an olefin polymer and free-radical polymerisable monomer(s) are fed while maintaining free-radical polymerisation conditions and a non-oxidising environment in the zones and from which a grafted copolymer particulate product is discharged, where the graft copolymer particles flow through the first of the reaction zones under fast fluidisation conditions, leave the zone and enter the second zone through which they move in a plug flow mode by gravity, leave the zone and are reintroduced into the first reaction zone, establishing a circulation of polymer between the two reaction zones.
