PURPOSE: A composition for the biodegradable formed product and a method for preparing the formed product using the composition are provided, to obtain the biodegradable container with the improved flexibility using a pulp material. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 10-80 parts by weight of a pulp material; 10-80 parts by weigh of a biodegradable binder; and 0.1-10 parts by weight of a stabilizer. Preferably the pulp material is the pulverized one selected from the group consisting of natural pulp material, paper, waste paper and their mixtures; the biodegradable binder is the grinded one selected from the group consisting of wheat, glutinous rice, rice, barley, corn, potato, sweat potato, tapioca, vegetable starch and their mixtures; and the stabilizer is any one selected from the group consisting of pectin, arabic gum, karaya gum, locust bean gum, guar gum, tamarind gum, tara gum, agar-agar, carrageenan, alginic acid, xanthan, dextran, glucan, casein and a cellulose derivative. |
