Knee substitution prosthesis consisting of a new model of modular prosthetic knee formed by several components which, once assembled, configurate a hinged knee articulation. For this purpose, a metal femoral component, a metal tibial component and several elements (bolt, cylinder, polyethylene insert, etc.) for attachment therebetween are provided, giving the degrees of freedom necessary for the prosthesis to ensure a stable, functional and low-friction articulation. It is applicable in surgery in case of tumors affecting the distal third of femur and/or the proximal third of tibia. <IMAGE> |
