SHAPED DEMOLITION CHARGE

The present invention relates to a shaped demolition charge that can be switched between a beam-like cutting jet and a line-like cutting jet. Today no charge is known which can be switched in the above-described way. Instead one demolition charge is used for each function. In order to avoid the problem of storing, transporting, and handling two different kinds of charges the invention shows a charge combining beam- and line-like cutting jet in the same charge. The desired function is easily chosen through a switch, e.g. by moving a slide or a knob. The shaped demolition charge (1) comprises a main charge (2), an ignition charge (3), a transfer charge (5, 6) connecting the ignition charge (3) with the main charge (2) in two peripheral points (25, 26) on the main charge (2), and a switch (7, 8), comprising a centre charge (9) which oculd connect the ignition charge (3) to teh centre of the main charge (2) or not.
