<p>Antitumor agents containing, as the active ingredient, a metal porphyrin derivative having a hemoxygenase activity and bonded to an amphipathic or water-soluble polymer (in particular, Zn-protoporphyrin (Zn-PP) bonded to polyethylene glycol). Because of being bonded to an amphipathic or water-soluble polymer such as polyethylene glycol, the active ingredient can be administered by intravenous injection and can exert a remarkable antitumor effect owing to tumor-selective delivery.</p> |
