PURPOSE: A creep control method for an electric vehicle is provided to reduce battery energy consumption by reducing the frequency of using the brake pump, while achieving improved stability for drivers. CONSTITUTION: A creep control method for an electric vehicle, comprises a first step(110) of turning on a vehicle key; a second step(120) of changing a transmission gear to D or R position; a third step(130) of turning off a brake signal, and generating an acceleration signal of 0.85V or higher; a fourth step(140) of permitting the vehicle to travel by a creep function; a fifth step(150) of stopping the vehicle by a mechanical brake and a motor command of zero, when the brake signal is turned on; and a sixth step(160) of turning the brake signal off, generating the acceleration signal of 0.85 or lower, and stopping the vehicle.
