PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display apparatus is provided, which obtains a wider viewing angle by appropriately opening and closing basic lenses of a lens array and displays basic images on an image display device. CONSTITUTION: An image processing part generates a basic image for reproducing a three-dimensional image, and an image display part displays the basic image generated from the image processing part. A lens array consists of a plurality of basic lenses. The lens array generates basic images displayed on the image display part to reproduce a three-dimensional image. A basic lens opening and closing part opens and closes the basic lenses of the lens array.
