<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image with practically sufficient electric and mechanical performances and high durability. SOLUTION: In the method for forming an image by electrifying the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor to form an electrostatic latent image and then developing and transferring the electrostatic latent image to form an image, the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor used contains a polymer compound having the structural unit expressed by general formula (1). The electrostatic charge image formed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor is developed and visualized by using a toner prepared by externally adding an irregular magnetic material particles to color particles composed of at least a binder resin and a coloring agent. In formula (1), each of R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> , R<5> , R<6> , R<7> and R<8> represents a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl group which may have substituents, 4-10C cyclic hydrocarbon group which may have substituents or aryl group which may have substituents.</p> |
