PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyimide resin for optical parts which has a small light transmission loss and is useful as a material for photoelectric parts such as optical waveguide, optical switch, optical amplifier, optical filter light-emitting element, photodetector, optical demultiplexer, optical interference device, wavelength converter, optical pickup, prim unit, optical switch element, photoelectric conversion element (PEMCM), etc. SOLUTION: This polyimide resin for optical parts comprises a polyimide resin which has a repeating unit represented by general formula (I) (R is a tetrafunctional organic group) and has <=20 ppm/ deg.C coefficient of linear expansion. |
