PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which surrounding of a develop ing device or the developed picture are prevented from getting dirt resulting from that a developer spattered from a developer carrier is spattered to the outside of the developing device and a process cartridge used for the same. SOLUTION: A magnet roller 5 is provided with a development magnetic pole P1 inside of a development sleeve 4 with respect to a developing area and an auxiliary magnetic pole P1b of a polarity opposite to the development magnetic pole P1 at a position adjacent to the downstream side of the rotation direction of the development sleeve 4 with respect to the development magnetic pole P1. At a casing 2a for forming a toner hopper 8 in the neighborhood of the auxiliary magnetic pole P1b, a recovery magnetic pole 80 is positioned as a magnetic field forming means for forming a magnetic field for preventing the developer spattered from the development sleeve 4 from being spattered to the outside of the developing device from an opening part. |
