PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle to run for the time being even when a position sensor 34 for select or a position sensor 44 for shift goes out of order. SOLUTION: When the position sensor 34 for select goes out of order, after a stop of a vehicle and disengagement of a clutch are confirmed, by driving a motor 36 for shift, a striker is moved to a position on a select line and thereafter, by driving a motor 28 for select for a given time or more, dashing against a shift line of a first speed or an R-th-speed at the endmost of the select line is effected. Thereafter, select operation is prohibited and shift operation is effected only on the shift line. |
