PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method for a<12> CO2 -<13> CO2 isotope ratio by the absorption of infrared rays whose treatment is simple and quick and whose accuracy is improved. SOLUTION: The determination method for the<12> CO2 -<13> CO2 isotope ratio by the absorption of the infrared rays is provided with a two-dimensional- working-curve creation process in which a two-dimensional working curve is created regarding an siotope ratio on the basis of the known isotope ratio of a sample gas, on the basis of an absorbance obtained by measuring the sample gas, on the basis of the value of an absorbance ratio and on the basis of a model expression.
