<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid producible at a low cost, having good storability, easily applicable to a coating object by conventional method such as printing and stably exhibiting the function of functional materials such as perfume and mothproofing agent over a long period and provide a method for the production of the coating liquid. SOLUTION: The coating liquid containing fine particles of a highly water- absorbing polymer is produced by (1) dissolving and/or dispersing a functional material in water to obtain an aqueous solution and/or dispersion, (2) absorbing the aqueous solution and/or dispersion produced by the step (1) in fine particles of the highly water-absorbing polymer and (3) dispersing the fine particles of the polymer produced by the step (2) in an oily dispersion medium.</p> |
