PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the oxygen concentration in lead-bismuth alloy melt in a proper range and remove impurities such as particulate corrosion products contained in the melt. SOLUTION: A purity control system for lead-bismuth alloy melt of this invention is provided with a purity control vessel 14 for storing the lead-bismuth alloy melt 13, a gas composition control tank 1 for controlling gas at a specific composition and supplying it, a bubbler 12 for bubbling the gas supplied to the gas composition control tank 1 and supplying the bubbles into the purity control vessel 14 from the lower side. It is also provided with a filter 16 for removing impurity caught at the boundary of bubbles 10 by the interaction among gas phase, liquid phase and solid phase caused at the boundary between the bubbles 10 and lead-bismuth alloy melt 13 and the particulate impurity contained in the lead-bismuth alloy melt 13 in the process that bubbles supplied to the lower side of the purity control vessel 14 by the bubbler 12 are ascending from the lower side to the upper side of the purity control vessel 14.
