PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having practically sufficient electric, chemical and mechanical performances and high durability of these performances. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, a polymer compound having the structural unit expressed by general formula (1) as a binder resin and a compound having at least one of the structural unit of a hindered phenol structural unit or a hindered amine structural unit as an antioxidant are incorporated into the photosensitive layer on the conductive base body. In formula (1), each of R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> , R<5> , R<6> , R<7> and R<8> represents a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl group which may have substituents, 4-10C cyclic hydrocarbon group which may have substituents or aryl group which may have substituents.
