PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a needle bearing 16. SOLUTION: There is provided an universal joint in which yokes of an input shaft 12 and that of an output shaft that are provided respectively at each of opposed ends of the input shaft and output shaft, are coupled by a crisscross shaft 15, and each end shaft 15b of the crisscross shaft is supported in a freely rotatably manner by the needle bearing 16 held inside a holding hole 18 formed at an end side of each of the yokes. The end portion of the yoke 12a is arranged at a position biased toward a cross portion 15a against the bearing cup 22 with width W1 of the end portion of the yoke 12a made small, and the holding hole 18 is arranged at a position biased toward an intersecting portion 15a of the crisscross shaft 15, to that a working point P of the maximum input load is set at a position biased more toward the intersecting portion 15a of the crisscross shaft than an axial center Q of each needle roller 23.
