METHOD OF TRANSPORTING NATURAL GAS BY SHIP AND NATURAL GAS CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transporting natural gas by a ship with improved transporting efficiency. SOLUTION: This method of transporting the natural gas in a pelletized state by a ship comprises a process (Fig. 7 (1)) for receiving the natural gas at a loading place 2, pelletizing the natural gas on a natural gas carrier 6, and loading the natural gas in a cargo hold 11a, a process (Fig. 7(2)) for transporting the pellets loaded in the cargo hold 11a while cooling the same at a predetermined temperature under a predetermined pressure, and a process (Fig. 7(3)) for heating the natural gas by a heat source device 12 at an unloading place 7 to decompose the pelletized natural gas, and charging the natural gas in a storage tank 8a.
