PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pump for air storage with stabilized structure, convenient operation, and reduced whole structure. SOLUTION: This air pump for air storage comprises: a main body provided, at one end, with a cylinder, and at the other end, with a bottom seat; a piston rod comprising a first end provided with a handle used for gripping operation of a user and a second end to which a piston is fixed, the piston being stored in the cylinder of the main body, generating relative moving relation in a longitudinal direction with the cylinder, and not being released from the cylinder; and an air storing means arranged to an outer edge of the main body to form at least one air-tight space together with the main body, and having a gas pressure inside the space equal to the pressure inside an air charging means.
