<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for recording the circumferential information before the occurrence of accident for a long time to effectively use the information in analyzing the cause of the occurrence of accident, in a driver recorder device for a vehicle provided with a camera for picking up an image of the circumferential environment of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The local circumstances of the vehicle picked up by a image pick-up part 11 and a vehicle condition detected by a vehicle sensor 14 are continuously recorded in a recording part 15, the positional information of an intersection of high accident rate is set in advance, when a present position detecting part 12 of the vehicle detects the approach to the intersection, a control part 10 stops the recording in the recording part 15, stores the recording information in a first record storing part 16, then restarts the recording in the recording part 15. When an impact detecting sensor 13 detects the collision thereafter, the recorded information after the restarting, is stored in a second record storing part 17.</p> |
