PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive and therapeutic agent for anorexia and a preventive and therapeutic agent for obesity. SOLUTION: This screening method/kit for a compound changing the bonding property of GPR 7 with a polypeptide having the ability of specifically bonding to GPR 7 or its salt is characterized by using the GPR 7 and the polypeptide. The compound or salt thereof obtained by this screening method or screening kit is useful as preventive and therapeutic agent for anorexia, appetite (eating) enhancer, preventive and therapeutic agent for obesity, preventive and therapeutic agent for hyperphagic disease, and the like.
