PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salinometer in which the salinity of an object can be measured accurately not only under low temperature but also under high temperature. SOLUTION: In the salinometer for measuring the salinity of an object A by detecting the electrical conductivity thereof by means of a salinity sensor 13, two sensor terminals 15a and 15b constituting the salinity sensor 13 are projecting stepwise from the forward end part of a holder 14. Even when the object A boils to develop a very high temperature, generated bubbles B do not strand between the sensor terminals 15a and 15b. Since the outer surface area of the sensor terminals 15a and 15b is prevented from varying by preventing adhesion of bubbles B to the outer surface of the sensor terminals 15a and 15b at all times, electrical conductivity of the object A can be detected accurately and thereby the salinity can be measured accurately.
