PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle device capable of keeping the stable rotating performance of a shaft by securing superior lubricating performance, reducing the noise and saving the shaft driving energy. SOLUTION: An antifriction bearing 10 rotatably supporting the shaft 5 of this spindle device 16 is lubricated by directly injecting a very small amount of lubricant from a lubricant nozzle 12 mounted on a housing 14, and simultaneously the lubricant nozzle 12 has an opening edge part 74b of a tip discharging port 74a properly projected in the lubricant discharging direction with respect to its outer peripheral area 74c.
