PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a casting epoxy resin composition which has improved impregnation in coils or the like and gives cast molded products of improved physical properties by thoroughly blending an epoxy resin with even a large quantity of a filler of microparticles. SOLUTION: This method for producing a casting epoxy resin composition comprises charging an agitating tank equipped with a lower-speed-rotating 1st agitating means and a higher-speed-rotating 2nd agitating means thereinside with the epoxy resin followed by the filler and then carrying out blending under agitation; wherein, in charging the filler, the number of revolutions of the 2nd agitating means is set at 400-800 rpm, and after ending charging the filler, the pressure inside the agitating tank is reduced to <=50 torr and the number of revolutions of the 2nd agitating means is set at 1,000-1,300 rpm.
