PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an oil palm conventionally abandoned for a wood product. SOLUTION: A raw wood 1 of the oil palm of a specific length of which the bark is barked off, is cut in a direction parallel to a wood fiber to form a raw plate 2. After drying the raw plate 2 to <=15% in moisture content, many long lumbers 3 of a square section obtained by cutting in a direction parallel to the wood fiber and crossing a cut surface of the raw plate 2 are arranged adjoining each other. A group of those long lumbers 3 arranged adjoining each other is bonded from front and rear with a thin sheet to constitute a wood structure.
