<p>The invention relates to a multilayered sealing strip (1) comprising at least one central layer (2) made from an elastomer material, especially an EPDM or IIR material whereby EPDM and IIR are both cross-linked, in addition to a resistant support material (3) embedded in the central layer (2), whereby said support material is generally arranged in the centre and composed of a glass fabric, 100 % glass material or shrunken polyester fabric, and a top and lower layer bordering on said central layer (2). According to the invention, the top layer (4) and lower layer (5) do not contain any bitumen and consist of a mixture comprising aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon resins such as SBS based polymers combined with SEBS and/or SEPS or, optionally, other additives. Useful parameters for the mixture and design and self-adhesive embodiments are also disclosed.</p> |
