<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for vulcanizing a tire which is simple in structure, can be constituted compactly, can be installed in a smaller space as compared with a conventional apparatus, and can improve the uniformity and productivity of the tire and a novel method using the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the vulcanization apparatus 11, a square lower part base plate 13 is set horizontally on a foundation G through a support member 12. Support rods 14 of a prescribed length are erected on the base plate 13, and an upper part base plate 15 of the same shape is set horizontally at the tips of the rods 14. A vertically movable bladder center mechanism 17 having a bladder 16 is installed in the central part of the lower part base plate 13, and a lower mold 18 having a heating means 18a around the mechanism 17 is provided attachably/detachably. Around the lower mold 18, the sector mold 20 of a split mold which has a heating means 19 and moves to expand/contract in the radiation direction toward the mechanism 17 is arranged.</p> |
