PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress propagation of traffic vibrations while securing the earthquake resistant safety of an existing reinforced concrete elevated bridge. SOLUTION: Gusset plates 8, 9 are protrusively installed at least at two spots opposed to each other in a sloped direction among the legs of bridge legs 1, the heads of bridge legs 1, the middle of beams 2, or the middle of girders 3. Between the opposed gusset plates 8, 9, a brace-type damper 6 having a brace body 61 into which a damper 62 is incorporated is constructed, and both ends of the damper 6 are coupled to the gusset plates 8, 9. |
