摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a hollow material, which butt-welds a lower face veneer of an alminum alloy-made truss shaped hollow material, inserts a joint board between both ends of an upper face veneer to block its opening section, and then joints the platform portion of the upper face veneer with the polymerised portion of the joint board, designed so as to allow the friction stirring type jointing between the upper face veneer and the joint board. SOLUTION: This is the joint structure of a hollow material which butt-welds the lower face veneer 3a of the alminum alloy-made truss shaped hollow material 1, inserts the joint board 9 between both ends of the upper face veneer 2a to joint the platform portion 6a of the upper face veneer 2a with the polymerised portion of the joint board 9. It defines a shoulder 7 between the platform portion 6a and the upper face veneer 2a as an inclined plane to form a V-shaped groove between the shoulder 7 and the platform portion 6a, shapes an abutting end of the joint board as a V-section to be fitted with the V-shaped groove, allows the abutting end of the joint board 9 to fit into the V-shaped groove of the upper face veneer 2a, and then tightens the joint board 9 with the upper face veneer 2a to secure it.
