PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method to a reversible heat sensitive recording medium, by which the formation of a clear image by a thermal recording is realized without providing a photothermal conversion mechanism in the reversible heat sensitive recording medium or without employing a medium equipped with an additional photothermal conversion mechanism, and an image recording device to the reversible heat sensitive recording medium. SOLUTION: Onto the heat sensitive recording layer of a reversible heat sensitive recording medium, in and from which visible information can be recorded and erased by giving thermal stimuli, a photothermal converting medium formed by providing a photothermal converting layer on a transparent layer is seated in order to record on the heat sensitive recording layer by employing the local heat generation obtained by selectively irradiating a laser beam on the photothermal converting medium as the thermal stimuli of a visible information recording for recording visible information. In order to erase the visible information, heat source is brought into contact with or close to the heat sensitive recording layer so as to uniformly give the thermal stimuli to the heat sensitive recording layer of the heat sensitive recording medium in order to erase the visible information thermally recorded thereon. |
