PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding obtained by kneading various inorganic compounds with resins such as polyethylene, in which discoloring on a long period of use is suppressed without impairing characteristics such as flame retardancy and reduction of noxious gas to be generated on burning. SOLUTION: A resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin and inorganic compounds consisting of 70-99.5 wt.% of aluminum hydroxide (those having gibbsite, boehmite, bayerite, norstrandite, or diaspore-type crystal structure, or an amorphous one) or aluminum oxide (those havingγ,χ,θ,δorκ-type crystal structure, or an amorphous one) and 0.5-30 wt.% of slaked lime.
