PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of a cylinder lock capable of promoting controllability when a key hole is opened and shut by a shutter and, at the same time, easily adopting waterproofing and dust proofing countermeasures against a lock means. SOLUTION: The protection device of the cylinder lock capable of protecting the cylinder lock having the shutter 2 opening and shutting the key hole from the outside includes a housing 5 for holding the shutter 2 while allowing an oscillation between an on position for the shutter 2 to make the key hole as an on state and an off position for making the key hole as an off state, an operating section 6 for oscillating the shutter 2 from the outside of the housing 5, at the same time, stored in the housing 5 when the shutter 2 is in the on position and projected from the housing 5 when it is in the off position and a locking means 9 for locking the oscillation to the off position from the on position of the shutter 2.
