PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing picture quality degradation caused by blurring of moving picture, etc., while suppressing the increase in scale and complexity of structure. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display element array 106 in which a drain line and a gate line are formed in matrix, a drain driver 105 which supplies the display element with a gradation voltage corresponding to a picture, a gate driver 104 which scans the line of display element for supplying the gradation voltage, a data control circuit 102 which inserts a blanking data into the picture data of one-frame period of the picture, and a timing control circuit 103 which generates a clock for scanning the line of display element so that both the picture data and the blanking data are displayed at arbitrary display element in the single frame period.
