PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet head with the endurance with respect to repeated deformation improved in a vibration plate comprising an island part and a thin part to be bonded with a piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: The island shape is provided such that the island width is made wider toward the center part in the major axis direction with a larger displacement amount according to the displacement amount of the piezoelectric element tip end as the contact point of a piezoelectric element and an island part.
