ILLUMINATION PHOTOMETER USING LIGHT EMITTING DIODE AS PHOTORECEIVING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel illumination photometer for measuring luminous energy effective for photosynthesis received by plants in plant production in agricualture, horticualture and the like, having different measuring system from a conventional one and manufacturable at a low cost and sold at a low price. SOLUTION: An inexpensive light emitting diode is used as a photoreceiving element instead of using an expensive photodiode and an expensive light filter used in the conventional illumination photometer for measuring the luminous energy effective for the photosynthesis.
