PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To blockade an intake passage securely and easily for the purpose of hermetically sealing the interior of an engine when checking airtightness of the engine at the time of assembling the engine, and to improve durability of a seal member for maintaining the airtightness. SOLUTION: The seal means includes a body 12, an annular handle section 14 screwedly engaged with a thread portion 26 of the body 12, an engagement portion 16 having one end integrally connected to the handle section 14 and the other end with a radially inwardly projecting protrusion 36, and an annular seal member 18 mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the protrusion 36.
