PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cold-drying aqueous coatings excellent in film forming property at a low temperature without any volatile organic compounds such as a film-formation aid and an anti-freezing agent causative of health disorder, and excellent in anti-blocking property and stability at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The cold-drying aqueous coatings comprise an aqueous resin dispersion (C) as essential component and a volatile organic compound having a boiling point of 50 to 250 deg.C in the amount of less than one wt.% based on the total amount of the coatings, wherein the aqueous resin dispersion (C) comprises an aqueous urethane resin (A) and a copolymer (B) copolymerized by ethylenically unsaturated monomers and having a glass transition temperature of more than 5 deg.C, and the solid weight ratio of (A): (B) is 10:90 to 90:10.
