PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which is for producing a solid dispersion, having a uniform composition, and preventing the chemical change of a thermally unstable substance. SOLUTION: The method for producing the solid dispersion is characterized in that a solvent is added to a solid substance in an amount enough to cause the lowering of the melting point of the solid substance and then is heated and melted.
