PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dopant agent which can impart high conductivity and further high conductivity capable of being maintained even under high temperature and high humidity environments, to aπ-conjugated polymer. SOLUTION: A sulfanilic acid derivative represented by the general formula [1] (X is sulfonic group having a counter cation; R<1> to R<9> are each identically or differentially H, a halogen atom, a <=20C alkyl, an alkoxy or an aryl, or arbitrary two or more of R<1> to R<9> may form an aromatic hydrocarbon or an alicyclic hydrocarbon) is applied as a doping agent for conductive polymers.
