PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium having excellent ink absorbability, smoothness and printer conveyability without unnecessarily increasing the thickness of an ink acceptive layer and having low cost and high image quality characteristics. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording medium comprises a layer containing an emulsion resin emulsion polymerized by a polymer dispersing agent having a hydroxyl group, and an ink acceptive layer containing a water soluble binder and inorganic fine particles having a mean particle size of 3 to 200 nm, sequentially provided on at least one side surface of a support. |
