PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient reduction printing, while suppressing considerably an adverse effect of an image deterioration. SOLUTION: When a reduction printing is made, a CPU confirms which of a plurality of ranges a reduction rate of the image belongs to (Step ST2 and Step ST3). Next, the CPU selects any of a plurality of treatment methods on the image reduction according to the range the image belongs to, and carries out the image reduction with the selected treatment method (Step ST4, Step ST5 or Step ST6). |
