PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pyrimidine compound and its salt capable of providing an active ingredient of a safely usable herbicide having sure effects, a method for producing the same and the herbicide comprising the pyrimidine compound or its salt as the active ingredient. SOLUTION: This pyrimidine compound is represented by the general formula (1) (wherein, R1 denotes a 1-6C alkyl group, a 3-6C cycloalkyl group, a 1-6C haloalkyl group or the like; R2 and R3 denote each independently a 1-6C alkyl group, a 3-6C cycloalkyl group or a 1-6C haloalkyl group; R4 denotes hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group or the like; X denotes a halogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-3C haloalkyl group or the like; and n denotes 0 or an integer of 1-5). The method for producing the same is provided and the herbicide comprises the compound or its salt. |
