PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curing resin composition hardly coagulating during drying in a process for coating on the surface of a base board and brought to greatly reduce foreign substances and a high quality color filter using the curing resin composition and provide a method for producing the color filter and a liquid crystal display and the like using the color filter. SOLUTION: The first invention is the curing resin composition containing a color material (a), a solvent component (b), a binder resin (c1) and/or its monomer (c2) and the rate of the coloring material (a) in the components except the solvent component (b) is 44 wt.%. The second invention is the color filter using the curing resin composition. The third invention is the method for producing the color filter. The fourth invention is the liquid crystal display using the color filter. The purpose is attained by the four inventions.
